TIMBER TRIO

The TIMBER Trio brings a boast of originals with a dash of eclectic cover songs from multi-instrumentalist TIMBER (TIM EWING) on mandolin/acoustic guitar, a veteran of the Canadian folk/roots scene whose sound blends the drive of bluegrass with the wandering spirit of psychedelic folk.

Accompanied by well-seasoned multi-instrumentalists, long-time friends, and band mates, TIM TURVEY on upright bass and MATT WELBANKS (the Free Range Fiddler) on violin and guitar - hailing from, and around the North Dumfries region, the TIMBER Trio brings an evening of music deemed “Canadiana with a bluegrass backbone and a little cosmic dust!”
