Beginner Embroidery Workshop with a Free Coffee from MOTW

Learn the basics of embroidery in a hands-on workshop at MOTW Coffee & Pastries. The instructor will guide you through three to five beginner-friendly stitches, from preparing your fabric and hoop to following a template and combining stitches into your own design. No previous experience is needed.

Your $85 ticket includes a complete embroidery starter kit to take home (hoop, fabric, thread, needle, scissors, and tote bag), 2–2.5 hours of instruction and creative time, and one coffee from MOTW to enjoy during the workshop. You'll leave with your completed or in-progress embroidered piece and the knowledge to keep creating at hand.

This workshop is designed for beginners, anyone curious about embroidery, and people of all craft levels looking to learn a new hands-on skill. The evening is relaxed and approachable — you do not need to consider yourself artistic or crafty to participate.

Designs and templates will be available to choose from during the workshop. If you have a specific idea you'd like to embroider, email crystallarocque1@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the event and the instructor will do her best to create a custom stencil (custom requests are not guaranteed but are welcome).

All embroidery supplies are included — bring nothing. The instructor will also have handmade pieces available to browse and purchase during the evening.
