Seniors - AI and Online Safety

Workshop for senior women to stay safer online spot AI scams, protect personal information, and confidently navigate today’s digital world.

This workshop is designed to help seniors safely navigate an increasingly AI-driven digital world by building awareness of emerging online threats and practical cybersecurity skills.

Participants will learn how artificial intelligence is being used in phishing scams, voice cloning, deepfakes, and online impersonation, and how to recognize warning signs before becoming a victim of fraud.

The workshop also covers essential digital safety practices, including creating strong passwords, using password managers, enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA), protecting personal information, and evaluating the reliability of AI-generated content.

By the end of the session, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to identify common AI-enabled scams, verify information more effectively, and make safer decisions when using technology and communicating online. Meet the Facilitator Prerna Seth.
