Yoga for Beginners / Upa Yoga
Yoga for Beginners — 90 Minute Module
A trained instructor will lead participants through seven practices: Directional Movement of the Arms, Neck Practices, Yoga Namaskar, Nadi Shuddhi, Nada Yoga, Shambhavi Mudra, and Namaskar Process.
Reported benefits include prevention and management of chronic ailments such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity; improved sleep quality and increased alertness; and enhanced productivity, concentration, and memory.
Ongoing online support will be available after the session.
Yoga for Beginners — 30 Minute Module
A trained instructor will lead Yoga Namaskar, a practice that activates the lumbar region and strengthens muscles along the spine, and Nadi Shuddhi, a practice intended to cleanse the nadis and promote balanced energy flow and psychological wellbeing.
Ongoing online support will be available after the session.
Open to ages 7 and up. Children ages 7–17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
