Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton Hosts Rabbit Adoptathon June 27–28

The Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton (HSOMH) is hosting a Rabbit Adoptathon on June 27 and 28 to help place 25 rabbits currently in care before they move to behind-the-scenes areas of the shelter.

The shelter's second cat room has temporarily housed rabbits, giving them visibility to potential adopters. With the cat population now at 109, the room will soon return to its original purpose, making it harder for adopters to meet the rabbits.

During the adoptathon, same-day rabbit adoptions will be available. HSOMH's adoption counsellors will be on hand throughout the weekend to help families find the right match.
