Art Show: Safar (A Journey), Solo Art Show by Sharn Bassi
This exhibition brings together four interconnected series exploring identity, spirituality, and cultural memory.
"Many Paths" reflects the different ways individuals seek connection: to faith, nature, meditation, or community. "Heer" reimagines the women of South Asian folklore as thinkers, leaders, and creators of their own destiny.
"Goddess of Alchemy" explores transformation, suggesting that change often begins in the unseen spaces between shadow and light. The exhibition concludes with "Dreaming of Punjab," a reflection on ancestral memory and imagined landscapes of home.
Together, these works trace a journey from searching and reclaiming, through transformation, to remembering one's origins.
