Holton Heights Park Native Garden Tour
Discover one of Oakville's public native gardens with Grow Native Halton. Carolyn, the volunteer steward of the Holton Heights Park Native Garden, will lead a guided walk through this pollinator habitat.
Participants will learn about native plants currently in bloom, how they support bees, butterflies, and birds, and the work involved in creating and maintaining a public garden. Carolyn is a Certified Pollinator Steward (Pollinator Partnership), Butterflyway Ranger (David Suzuki Foundation), and Bat Ambassador (Bat Conservation International).
The tour covers practical gardening tips, restoration insights, and the story of this community project. It is suitable for both new and experienced gardeners.
