Lowdown Dirty Mojos

Lowdown Dirty Mojos is a Hamilton, Ontario–based R&B and blues band led by founding members Paul Wootton (vocals and guitar) and Stephen Foster (guitar and vocals). The lineup includes Robert Jarovi (piano and organ), Kevin Christoff (bass and vocals), and Claude Desroches (drums).

Since their debut album Screamin' Hoodoos R'n'B, the band has built a reputation for powerful original music rooted in 1960s-influenced rhythm and blues. They have performed at major festivals including Wasaga Beach Blues Festival and It's Your Festival, as well as at blues societies, clubs, and venues throughout Southern Ontario, sharing bills with artists such as Chris Spedding, Chilliwack, and Chuck Jackson.

Their second album, Stone Cold Groovers, earned them a 2022 Maple Blues Award, with the track "Mystic Highway 6" receiving significant radio play. Their third album, Down'n'Dirty, expanded their reach to national radio in Canada and internationally in the United Kingdom, United States, and Spain.

Their fourth album, Lucky 7, shifts focus to cover R&B classics spanning from the 1920s to the present day, featuring interpretations of artists including Mavis Staples, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Huey "Piano" Smith, and Ike & Tina Turner.
