Durham County Poets

Durham County Poets is a band that blends blues, soul, folk, R&B, and gospel into a distinctive sound. Each song features clever arrangements and heartfelt lyrics that tell a story.

The band has released five albums to date. Their 2019 album Hand Me Down Blues was nominated for a JUNO award for Blues Album of the Year. The band's sixth album, Turn the Page, will be released in fall 2026.

The band features Kevin Harvey on vocals, Rob MacDonald on guitars, Carl Rufh on bass and vocals, Rob Couture on drums and vocals, and Mark Leclerc as guest musician on tenor saxophone. Durham County Poets is based in Montreal.
