Durham County Poets

Durham County Poets are a band whose music weaves together blues, soul, folk, R&B, and gospel into a distinctive sound. Each song tells a story, featuring clever arrangements and heartfelt lyrics.

The band has released five albums to date. Hand Me Down Blues (2019) was nominated for a JUNO award for Blues Album of the Year. Their sixth album, Turn the Page, will be released in fall 2026.

The band features Kevin Harvey on vocals, Rob MacDonald on guitars, Carl Rufh on bass and vocals, Rob Couture on drums and vocals, and Mark Leclerc as guest musician on tenor saxophone. The band is based in Montreal.
