The Grapes of Wrath

The Grapes of Wrath rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s with 60s-inspired harmonies that became a staple on Canadian radio, MuchMusic, and Musique Plus. Songs including "Peace of Mind," "What Was Going Through My Head," "You May Be Right," "Backward Town," "I Am Here," and "All the Things I Wasn't" — combined with relentless touring — earned the band a gold and two platinum album certifications.

Formed in 1978 when Kevin and Tom began playing with Tom's brother Chris on drums in the Hooper's basement, the band released an EP and four albums between 1984 and 1992, moving from Nettwerk Productions to an international deal with Capitol/EMI. The band disbanded in 1992 but reunited in the late 1990s for the album "Field Trip" (2000), with Chris rejoining in 2010. They have continued performing and occasionally recording since.

Kevin and Tom now also perform as an acoustic duo, featuring reworked versions of the band's hits, album deep cuts, and new material, sharing the stories behind the songs with audiences.
