The Grapes of Wrath
The Grapes of Wrath earned gold and platinum certifications in Canada during the late 1980s and early 1990s with 60s-inspired harmonies and radio hits including "Peace of Mind," "What Was Going Through My Head," "You May Be Right," "Backward Town," "I Am Here," and "All the Things I Wasn't."
Formed in 1978 when Kevin and Tom began playing with Tom's brother Chris on drums in a basement, the band released an EP and four albums between 1984 and 1992 on Nettwerk Productions and later Capital/EMI before disbanding. The group reunited in the late 1990s for the album "Field Trip" (2000), with Chris rejoining in 2010. The band continues to perform and record together.
Kevin and Tom now also perform as an acoustic duo, featuring reworked versions of the band's hits, deep cuts from their albums, and new material, sharing the stories behind the songs with audiences.
