Bronte Lake Notes Ends Its Summer Season Thursday Night

The last free concert of the Bronte Lake Notes season is on Thursday, September 3 at 7 p.m., on the Sails Stage in Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park. Fiddlestix has the closing set, playing the country, Celtic and rock blend the band is known for.

Fiddlestix also played the second night of the season back on June 25, so the series ends with the same band that helped start it. The lineup in between ran through the Dave Murphy Big Band, The Echo Band, Orangeman, Freedom Train, James Anthony & Friends, Project Phoenix, Switchbeat and The Blackboard Blues Band.

That adds up to twelve straight Thursday nights of live music on the harbour since the series opened on June 18. Every one of them has been free and open to all ages, with audiences invited to dance and sing along in front of the water.

Bring friends and a lawn chair. There is no ticket and no registration, so the only thing to plan around is the 7 p.m. start.
