Moonlight Market Comes to Joshua Farm Gallery on October 16

Tarot readers, psychics and artists working the mystical side of things will fill an 1827 barn on the edge of Oakville for one evening this month. Joshua Farm Gallery hosts its Moonlight Market on Friday, October 16, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and admission is free.

The lineup is handmade and spiritually themed: artists and artisans selling one of a kind pieces, plus tarot, psychic and aura readings through the evening. It is open to adults, youth and children, so it works as a family outing as much as a night out.

Joshua Farm Gallery sits on 14 acres on the outskirts of Oakville, in a barn built in 1827 that Sybil Rampen converted into an art centre in 2007. The grounds hold 38 community vegetable plots, an orchard and a labyrinth, and the gallery hosts exhibitions, workshops, concerts and weddings through the year.

Fall in Oakville has been thick with craft and farmers' markets. This one runs for a single evening and costs nothing to walk into. Come see what turns up under the moon!
