Haunted Happenings: Tricks, Treats and Traditions

Gather the whole family for old-fashioned Halloween fun at the Oakville Museum 🎃. Young visitors can follow their own Halloween Passport as it guides them throughout the historic estate and grounds to take part in festive activities, crafts, outdoor games, and seasonal surprises.

Attendees can travel through centuries of Halloween traditions on a guided tour of Erchless Estate, enjoy a Halloween craft, and settle in with complimentary popcorn and warm apple cider while watching classic silent movie shorts and vintage Halloween cartoons at the Coach House. The enchanted gingerbread cottage offers a sweet treat and fortune telling by a friendly witch.

Costumes are highly encouraged — come dressed as your favourite ghost, goblin, or storybook character.

Three time slots are available: 12:15 p.m. – 2:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
