Clay & Coffee: A Handmade Mug Workshop

Get Creative with Clay 🍵

Attendees will hand-build their own ceramic pinch mug under the guidance of local ceramic artist Lara, creator of the Celina & Evergreen mugs. No prior pottery experience is needed; all materials and instruction are included.

While working, guests enjoy freshly brewed specialty coffee from Poets & Prose, along with light pastries and refreshments. Those interested can even try brewing coffee with guidance from the café.

After the workshop, Lara will take each creation to her studio for drying, hand-glazing, and two kiln firings. The finished mug will be food-safe and durable.

Finished mugs will be ready for pickup at Poets & Prose approximately four weeks after the workshop. Optional local delivery is available for $5–$7.

Seats are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and hands-on.
