Interactive Skills Development Workshop For Women
Reported
This interactive workshop explores trauma-informed skills to build communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Participants will discover practical strategies for personal growth and community impact, with time for reflection and deeper self-understanding.
The workshop is facilitated by Diana, a community advocate, educator, and Family & Crisis Intervention worker with lived experience and professional background as an Addictions & Community Service Worker since 2015. Diana now works in a Social Service role, bringing trauma-informed principles—emphasizing safety, trust, and empowerment—to support diverse individuals with compassion and encouragement.
Attendees will leave feeling empowered, connected, and equipped to contribute positively to their community.
Hosted by Halton Helps, which offers family intervention, case management, resource navigation, trauma-informed support, community outreach, and free educational programs. Follow @haltonhelps.on on Instagram for more information.
