CPKC Holiday Train Stops at Glen Eden on November 20

The CPKC Holiday Train is back on Friday, November 20, and the Halton stop is at Glen Eden Ski and Snowboard Centre in Milton. The train pulls into the hill's west parking lot at 5234 Kelso Road at 5 p.m. and leaves at 5:30 p.m., so the window is half an hour.

Magic! and MARIS play the stop, performing from a boxcar stage strung with lights. The show is free, and the reason for it is the collection: money, food and awareness for food banks in the communities along the line.

Since the first run in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $28.3 million and collected over 5.6 million pounds of food across North America.

Anyone heading out should arrive early and plan for delays in the area. The train carries on to Hamilton later the same evening. Stop details are on CPKC's website.
