Pizza Fiamma Opens First Oakville Location in Palermo

Pizza Fiamma has opened its first Oakville store, at 3005 Pine Glen Road, unit 101, in Palermo. The shop has been serving slices and whole pies for a little over a week.

The kitchen runs from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., seven days a week, which is later than most pizza counters keep. The phone number for the Oakville store is (905) 469-1111.

The chain makes its dough fresh every morning, cooks its sauces slowly and bakes in a wood fired oven, and it says its ingredients are locally sourced. Past the pepperoni, deluxe and Hawaiian, the specialty pizzas include butter chicken and shahi paneer.

Pizza Fiamma is a Canadian chain that grew out of the Greater Toronto Area and now has outposts as far away as Winnipeg and Halifax. Palermo is the newest address on the list.
