Diwali Writing Workshop

Celebrate the Festival of Lights 💡 with bestselling author Sonya K. Singh in an interactive writing workshop inspired by Diwali's themes of light, hope, resilience, and new beginnings.

Participants will explore creative writing techniques, respond to guided writing prompts, and have the opportunity to share their work in a welcoming and supportive environment. No previous writing experience is required. The workshop welcomes participants of all backgrounds and experience levels (18+).

Through storytelling and reflection, attendees will explore themes of family, identity, resilience, hope, and belonging while gaining a deeper appreciation of Diwali's cultural significance. Guided exercises will help develop character, setting, and personal voice.

The program provides a space where diverse voices, experiences, and perspectives can be shared and valued, fostering creativity, empathy, and cross-cultural understanding.
