Rabbit Adoptathon November 7-8

Some of the Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton's (HSOMH) longest-waiting rabbits are hoping their next chapter includes a loving home. To help make that happen, HSOMH is hosting a superhero-themed Rabbit Adoptathon on November 7 and 8.

The rabbits have been in HSOMH's care for more than 200 days, with some waiting more than 300 days for a family of their own. To help shine a spotlight on these special residents, each has been given a superhero identity, including Scarlet Witch, Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Doctor Doom.

While the superhero theme adds a little fun to the event, the goal is a serious one: finding these rabbits the loving homes they've been waiting for. Same-day adoptions will be available throughout the weekend, and HSOMH's adoption counsellors will be on hand to help prospective adopters find the right match.
