The Artisan Bazaar Brings 80 Makers To Oakville For The First Time
Eighty local makers are setting up at the St. Volodymyr Event Centre on Saturday, September 26. It is the first time The Artisan Bazaar has run one of its craft shows in Oakville.
The bazaar started in 2017 as a single show with fewer than 30 artisans. Jackie Fenton and Carrie Wroot now run several a year across the region, and Oakville is the new autumn stop on that circuit. From here they head to Burlington in mid November and Ancaster at the end of it.
On the tables: jewellery, baked goods, ceramic ware, floral decor and a great deal else. Admission is $5 and cash only, and it puts you in the draw for door prizes.
The timing is deliberate. Oakville gets first look at this year's work, ahead of the bazaar's Christmas shows, so this is the head start on holiday shopping if you want one. Bring cash!
