🔑 On The Market

Check out this listing from Dan Cooper Group at 44 Iverhuron:

This five-bedroom River Oaks home offers rare space with approx. 2,800 sq ft above grade plus a finished basement. Highlights include a renovated granite kitchen, spacious family room with wood-burning fireplace, main-floor laundry, and five true bedrooms upstairs, led by an oversized primary suite with spa-style ensuite.

The finished lower level adds rec space and a gas fireplace, while the private backyard steals the show with a heated saltwater pool, natural stone patios, and mature landscaping. A rare combination in River Oaks, perfect for growing families who want space inside and resort-style living outside.

What would you guess this home is listed for?

🍫 Chocolate Convention this Saturday

Chocolate lovers will have plenty to enjoy this Saturday as the Great Canadian Chocolate Affair takes over the Oakville Conference Centre. The all-ages event runs 9am-5pm and features artisan treats, rich desserts, drinks, and creative chocolate pairings from makers across Ontario.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for kids, with extra workshops available for those who want to learn more. The day ends with a 5-7pm Cask & Cocoa Lounge for guests 19+, pairing small-batch whisky with craft chocolate. It is shaping up to be a sweet Saturday in Oakville.

🐴 March Break With Horses And Swords

A different kind of March Break camp is coming to Oakville on March 17, mixing horses with choreographed sword-fighting. The Confidence and Connection Workshop is led by Tracey Mill of Millbrae Learning Centre in Milton, and is inspired by International Women’s Day.

Teen girls will spend a half day trying new challenges, talking confidence, and stepping a little outside their comfort zones. No experience is needed, just a willingness to give it a try. It is not your typical camp, and it offers a very unique experience for those who want to step outside their comfort zone.

💙 Town Hall Glows Blue

Town of Oakville

Oakville Town Hall lit up blue yesterday for Rare Disease Day, joining cities around the world in the #LightUpForRare campaign. The annual event shines a light on the 1 in 12 Canadians living with a rare disease and the ongoing need for research, awareness, and support.

Local advocate Lauren Pires helped secure Oakville as one of 25 illuminated sites across four provinces this year. With Town Square glowing bright, it was a simple but powerful show of solidarity in the heart of downtown.
