Homeowners, do you hate your floor plan?
We can help you find new ways to use your space and make your home feel special again.
Big changes, like moving walls or the entire kitchen, can feel scary. But don’t worry—we’ll guide you through it so your home can be the best place for family time!

🔄 New Walmart Opens This Fall
Big changes are coming to a familiar Oakville spot. Hopedale Mall, officially called South Oakville Centre but still “Hopedale” to longtime locals, is getting a Walmart supercentre set to open on October 16. The space, once home to Target, will soon offer groceries, home goods, clothes, a pharmacy and more, similar to the Walmart up at Hays and Trafalgar.
It’s a full-circle moment for a mall that’s seen plenty of ups and downs since it opened in 1959. From Kmart and Zellers to the short-lived Target, the anchor stores never quite stuck. But for residents like Remo Centiri, who grew up hanging out there in the ‘60s and ‘70s, Hopedale still holds a special place. With Walmart moving in, some are hopeful it will bring back a bit of that old energy.
🏆 Oakville Named Top Investment Spot
For the seventh year running, Oakville has landed a spot on Site Selection Magazine’s list of Canada’s 20 best places to invest. The town’s mix of strong business growth, new company arrivals, and major capital projects continues to draw attention from corporate site selectors across the country.
Recent highlights include Siemens’ $150 million investment to build a global A.I. R&D centre for battery production, bringing 90 new jobs to town. Over the past year, companies like Orange EV Canada, Atlas Workwear, and Vital Bio also set up shop here, adding momentum to Oakville’s thriving business landscape.
🏡 Oakville Home Show This Weekend
Oakville’s Fall Home Show is back this weekend at Glen Abbey Community Centre, offering homeowners a chance to explore renovation ideas, discover new products, and connect with local businesses. From home upgrades to lifestyle services, the show brings together a wide range of exhibitors under one roof, along with expert tips and live demos. It’s a one-stop event for inspiration, savings, and supporting the community.
